BANGKOK 20th aug-22nd aug! (:
HELLO!a very late post.
cos i was away to Bangkok from 20th to 22nd, a so-called school trip.
and i realized my tagboard is flooded by my er zi and dear,
dont believe what my dear is saying at all,
she is the real evil person!!
anyways, shall narrate what happened from 20th-22nd, with words and pictures.
going to be a very long post! but read it ok!!
20th woke up at 4.30am prepared myself until 5.30am then my dad fetched me to airport,
dear and michelle were there to send shimin and me off.
took the plane to Bangkok at around 7.40am.
my first time taking a plane. LOL.
was kind of nervous at first,
but in the end realized that it is nothing much.
this is our breakfast on the plane: omelet, sausage, vege, bread and fruits
me & shimin (:
we're greeted by many statues of these when we arrived there
we board the bus when we checked out and my VERY NICE tourguide for the 3 days brought us to this steamboat restaurant called MK to have our lunch.
shimin, aik leng, chanel, mr konda and me sat together for the steamboat.
dont find it very nice except for the roasted duck though, so all of us didnt eat much.
think we used to singapore steamboat le bah.
the restaurant people quite nice!
they even danced to so called welcome us.
mr konda, shimin, me, aik leng and chanel!
we then travelled to the hotel which is called Holiday Inn Bangkok to check in.
the HOTEL VERY NICE!
nice & super clean toilet! their shampoo, conditioner, body soap are all RED EARTH DE OK!
nice surroundings!
nice chair!
nice fridge! * although we have to pay if we drink anything they put inside*
nice tabletop with things like pringles, coffee and tea placed there!
and alot of their buses are actually decorated with drawings of cartoon characters!
there is even this over there, the thing all vehicles have to stop and pay de
this is the biggest buddhist temple over there! and it is really humongous la! stretch a super long stretch.
they even have chinese temple there!
and this is the place our tourguide told us all the stalls sell very nice food, too bad we didnt go there ):
and alot of residents there actually live in this kind of houses, all clamped together de lor, so poor thing ):
our dinner place!
they took us on this boat ride around first,
to look at all their magnificant buildings.
the boat ride was so jerky la!
and we were like so close to the water,
like can fall inside anytime.

this is the place where the king all those live, it is like glowing please! wonder if there are gold all over it

then the tourguide brought us to Suan Nam Night Bazaar.
so for us, it is our second time there.
we bought more clothes this time round,
then we even bought the thailand well-known tidbits there to bring back singapore.
then after that we took this tuk tuk back to the hotel.
mr konda, shi min, fifi and me on one tuk tuk
and fenni, shuhui, shihan and szy on another.
the 2 tuk tuk drivers were DRIVING SO FAST LA.
machiam like rollar coaster ride they said ( i never take before so i dont know ): ).
then the drivers see all of us screaming so they want to compete who drive faster then they speed even more la!
the ride was fun and windy! enjoyed it! (:

then the talk ended at around 5+pm.

we went to MBK to walk walk.
found out there not as nice to walk as what the tourguide told us,
then we did express manicure and pedicure there!
add up to only 12+ sg dollars la!
so cheap compared to singapore please!
after we shop finish,
we went to the Suan Nam Night Bazaar to shop!
that place actually quite like singapore bugis street la.
so we bought clothes we have not seen in singapore there.
then after that,
it was already 12.30+am,
so we went back hotel to sleep.
mr konda asked shi min and me whether we want to join there in the morning to go see their 4-face god,
then we thought it will be very magnificant those kind so we agreed.
and we forced ourselves awake at 5.30am to bathe and met them.
in the end mr konda himself overslept la! lol!
then we went with mr ho and those others.
found out we actually saw it before. =/
then we had our second day breakfast back at the hotel. was quite nice! i had omelet made on the spot, sausages, bacon, hash brown and this not nice waffle
then after the breakfast had the most boring talk of the trip, by this hong kong guy.
he practically just read from the slides.
after we checked in at the hotel, we have to go have our boring talk.

on the third day,
after our morning breakfast at the hotel and our checking out.
we went to another talk.
this talk was MUCH MUCH MUCH more fun.
the speaker is from singapore and he made the session very nice!
it is a talk about customer service.
then after the talk,
the tourguide put us at MBK,
but we didnt want to walk there anymore,
so we took a cab to platinum!
there much nicer to walk!
ALOT OF SHOPS LOR!
but shimin and i only managed to like walk one part of the first floor? ):
too little time given le la!! ):
after that we need to go back singapore le ):
the 3 days 2 night trip was too short! ):
i want to walk platinum more! ):
i want all the shopping minus away all the tears i had during the trip..

and this is what i had for dinner on the plane. chicken fried rice, bread, fruits, this milk thing, orange juice and BARCADI MIXED WITH SPRITE! (: i think the air stedwardness put in too much barcadi la. drink finish a little giddy, dont know is caused by the flight or the drink. lol.
they gave all of us this flower when we reached singapore
i then bought Chivas ( for me), red wine ( for my parents) and carlsberg ( for my dad) at the duty free alcohol shop.
wanted someone to help me buy Vodka de,
but they just suddenly disappear.
then after that i took cab back home.
spent so much on the trip!
my dad gave me 150 sg still not enough,
i changed another 40 sg there.
then spent another 1oo on alcohol,
then 31 on cab!
OMG! broke already!
cannot go retail therapy in singapore le.
kind of miss the trip.. ):
miss the shopping..
the tour guide..
the hotel..
teared during the trip when i saw some stuff..
my heart was aching whenever i saw those..
sighhs..

anyways, yesterday went to work.
SOMETHING HILARIOUS HAPPENED LA!
there was this colgate event held at cwp.
then there was this 2 person who wore the cartoon character costumes walking around giving balloons.
then one of them walked past the shop, then saw me,
then the person handed out one balloon want to give me ( see the picture below ), i was like stunned. LOL.
i was wondering whether i looked like some kid in formal wear.
then after that another walked past and the person waved to me.
then Don jiu said, " sure is 2 guys inside the costumes then they see u pretty give u de"
LOL!!!!! ok, i rather believe is this rather than i look like some kid. ;x HAHAHAHA.
